Do I need to understand websites or hosting?

No. Tell me about the business in your own words and I’ll handle the website, domain connection, hosting and technical setup.

Who owns my domain and business material?

Your domain, business name, branding, photographs and supplied content remain yours. On a managed plan, Wood Websites owns and looks after the website code and design, and licenses the live website to you while the service is active unless we agree something different in writing.

What does ongoing support include?

Hosting, routine technical maintenance, help when the site needs attention and reasonable small changes to existing text or photographs. Larger additions are always discussed and quoted first.

Can I leave later?

Yes. Your domain and business materials remain yours. I will return or transfer any technical control I hold and make the handover clear. The managed Wood Websites site itself ends with the service unless a separate licence or transfer is agreed.

Support comes straight to me.

Email what needs changing, include a screenshot if useful, and tell me if it is urgent. Agreed care plans can also include routine checks and a plain-English maintenance report.
